Ger O’Brien served as an officer in the Defence Forces from 1994 to 2016.  Ger now runs his family campervan hire business; Camperhire4u Ltd.  Camperhire4u is located on the old Concession Road on the Armagh/Monaghan border.

As can be imagined, business has not been easy over the past twelve months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.  Despite this, Ger recently ran a competition and due to its success he was able to donate a total sum of €3,500 for distribution between three charities, one of which was ONE. Ger presented €1500 of this total to the Sleeping Flags Appeal (www.one-veterans.org).  This donation will be used to support the Brú na bhFiann home for homeless veterans.
