I hope 2021 is going well so far and the impact of Covid / Lockdown is manageable.

I wanted to update you on the Ready for Work programme for 2021. The programme is active and working with clients and businesses remotely for the interim. Once we move out of Level 5 we will reopen our office for face-face meetings for those that have a preference for this. We will adhere to all necessary health and safety requirements.

We are continuing to provide one-one career guidance and job-seeking support for participants. We are planning to re-commence small group pre-employment training and work placements later in the year, once it is safe to do so.

We are open for referrals at present. Should you have a client who may be interested we would be happy to speak with you/them and provide more detailed information on the service. All clients referred must get a ESP F01 form completed by their Local Employment Service or Intreo office – we are happy to link with clients to arrange this if necessary. The service remains targeted for those who identify as having a health issue – previously this has included those with a history of addiction / a mental health diagnosis / physical health issues.
