The Employer:

ONE’s primary objective is to support the needs of Irish veterans by the provision of accommodation to homeless and other veterans in need of such domestic accommodation in its Veterans’ Homes and the provision of other advice and support to veterans, in particular Mental Health advice, through its nationwide network of Branches and Veteran Support Centres.
ONE is a registered charity.

Work Schedule:

Part Time – 20 hours weekly

Contracts & Location:

3 Year Contract with initial 6-month probationary period

Salary Scale:

€19,800

Role Purpose:

To provide administrative support to ONE’s Area Council and Branch network

Reports to:

Chief Executive Officer, Óglaigh Náisiúnta na hÉireann

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

⦁ Financial Administration of ONE Accounts
⦁ Engaging and supporting Branches and Area Councils nationwide, as required.
⦁ Manage ONE’s Register of Members and other Membership administration
⦁ Supporting Chairperson of Lottery Committee with financial administration and oversight of weekly Lottery Bonus Ball draw.
⦁ Managing ONE’s Shop, including the sale of emblems, clothing, and merchandise.

Essential Requirements:

Qualification Required:

⦁ Qualified to use Financial Management Software Packages like Big Red Cloud – with over 2 years’ experience required.

Desirable:

⦁ A clear understanding of the ethos of ONE and the issues affecting veterans of the Defence Forces.

⦁ An awareness of the role of ONE’s Area Council and Branch network within the overall organisation.
