The CEO and Chairperson appeared before the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence yesterday afternoon 16th November 2021 together with a delegation from IUNVA.

ONE concentrated on Goal 3 of our Strategic Plan – Veterans Policy. In its conclusions, the Joint Committee agreed to recommend the development of a Veterans Policy and in particular the creation of an Office of Veterans Affairs which ONE considers to be a key enabler in the delivery of further supports for veterans of the Defence Forces.

We submitted documentation in advance of the meeting and opened the meeting with a short presentation thereon.
