Mount Snowdon climb to help support veterans

On Saturday 19th August 2023, two veterans will climb Mount Snowdon to help support two veterans charities, ONE Veterans Charity in Ireland and Walking With The Wounded in the UK.

After both serving in the military, Terry Power and his friend Dan Stubbs have decided to take on Mount Snowdon (1,085 metres / 3,560 feet) the highest mountain in Wales and UK to fundraise for Irish and UK Veterans Charities. Something they feel strongly about is veterans’ welfare.

They aim to ascend and descend Snowdon continuously for a 24hr hours in August 2023.

Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) is the highest mountain in Wales and England. It’s one of the most famous and recognisable landmarks. Standing tall over the village of Llanberis, Snowdon is part of a close-knit family of jagged peaks and can offer views of Snowdonia, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire and Ireland.
