Pte Seán Rooney was killed while on overseas service with the 121st Inf Bn, UNIFIL, on the 14th of December 2022, when he sadly lost his life in the service of peace. He had previously served overseas with 119th Inf Bn, UNIFIL in November 2021. Cuimhnímis – Remember Those Who Served

The aim of the challenge is to first of all Remember Private Sean Rooney and secondly, to have as many people complete a 5Km or as many 5Km as you want during the open dates and support ONE.

This challenge is open to anyone. You can take part by running or walking 5km wherever you are and uploading your time to the leaderboard. There will be a prize for the overall fastest male and fastest female and an open draw prize for all that register.

The challenge will allow you to WALK or RUN 5K wherever you are in the world between the 12th and the 17th of June 2023 or join us at DKIT, Dundalk on Saturday the 17th of June 2023 at 12 midday.
