Location: Maynooth/Naas

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: €16 per hour

Position Overview: The Noel Group, on behalf of our esteemed client, is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Childcare Cook. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing nutritious meals for our young charges, ensuring they receive wholesome food to support their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary guidelines and accommodating specific needs.
• Maintain a hygienic and organized kitchen environment, following safety standards.
• Collaborate with childcare staff to address food-related concerns or special dietary requirements.
• Create an enjoyable dining experience for children, promoting healthy eating habits.
• Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, coordinating with suppliers for food orders.

Qualifications:

• Cooking or catering experience is necessary.
• Formal qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Food handling and safety certification is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate cooking skills during the interview.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children and creating a positive, nurturing environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet childcare center needs.
