TVM/IRIS TECH TV jobs

Based at our Leinster HQ in Greenogue, to work as part of the IRIS team at various racecourses around the country.  He/She will be trained on a wide range of skills including: various camera positions required in racecourses, video and audio signal quality, PA & RF systems, rigging, testing & troubleshooting.  He/She may also be required to undergo HGV driver training and MEWP Training to operate a hoist.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Full, Clean Irish driving license (a HGV license would be a distinct advantage)
• High level of concentration with a willingness to learn and develop
• Practical approach to problem-solving & fault-finding
• Physically fit to manually move equipment to all appropriate locations
• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, to work under pressure and to ‘tight’ deadlines
• Strong inter-personal skills to communicate effectively
• Comfortable working as part of a team or in isolation
• Weekend work and outside working (exposed to the elements) are core requirements of this position

Beneficial skills and experience but not essential:

• Engineering or electrical knowledge
• Comfortable working at heights
• A knowledge of horse racing
